Place your semi precious stone either in a hand held spring clamp or a table mounted vise with the portion of the stone you want to shape sticking out. Grind the gem slowly but firmly using the finer bits. Continue to grind and sand your stones both with dremel attachment as well as wetdry sandpaper. Onto a vise or clamp secure the gemstone.
